Many of you may not know this, but Jerry was scheduled to appear in the first Star Trek movie in 1980, but due to other touring, he had to cancel.
However, they did shoot one scene, in which Garcia passes a doobie of Rigellian Skunk Cluster to the whole crew on the bridge. Green alert! Beam me up.

Thats priceless. Thanks for the laugh.Hey Will Tell, doesn't this offset some of the bitter banter? Maybe not, thought I'd ask anyhow.

There was also supposed to be a video of Lost Sailor with Captain Kirk at the helm of the boat. This was scratched when they realized that Shatner couldn't sail worth a damn.

However, in Stra Trek the Next Generation, Micky makes several short appearances a Voldar, the stoned Vulcan. Remember, he is the one who keeps trying to meld his own mind.

I'll be thinking about that later tonight and will start giggling and my wife will be wondering what the hell is wrong with me.

Remember that video where Mickey does the mind meld on Jerry?

Hey doc...

I couldn't open the attachment. Thanks for the info, though.

BTW, Jerry was a huge science fiction fan and tried for years to make a movie out of Kurt Vonnegut's "Sirens on Titan", after buying the rights to do so, but never was able to get it done.

Like the song goes huh? " all the things I planned to do I only did half way"

or

"...nothing's for certain, it can always go wrong...."

(we could start a whole other thread about how many of Hunter's lyrics are actually pretty depressing at times...first time my wife heard Stella Blue she almost started crying...of course, we had just had to put down our cat of the same name, so I probably should have played something else!)

For some reason I kind of gravitate towards those kind of lyrics.
